Looking Ahead: Embracing Change, Family Time, and Personal Development

Daily writing prompt
What are you most excited about for the future?

“Map out your future – but do it in pencil. The road ahead is as long as you make it. Make it worth the trip.” – Jon Bon Jovi

I’m excited about the opportunity, challenge and experiences I will have living in Florida. It’s exciting to start college as a 26 year old rather finishing high school. I talked with an acquaintance of my wife’s best friend in regards that I still unsure what I’m doing with my life and developing/discovering passion in my life. Its a journey and I’m grateful for the new opportunities and spending it with my lovely wife, Michaella. I’m excited on creating a family with her while we’re in the talks of children.

I had a plan in 2021 in going to school around the year my brother Cornell finishing his sentence in 2025. I’ll be there when he gets out and I’ll be here to support him as much I can while a full time student/active duty Marine. I’m excited to spend time with my brothers and to see their futures unfold.

I’m excited to hang out with my niece and nephew and make experiences, we’re planning to go to the beach with them soon. I’m excited for more beach days as Michaella and I spent time at Indian Rock Beach that our neighbor so kindly made us aware.

I’m excited for the challenge of developing myself in all aspects. I’m hoping for more time for me to focus on school and my goals compared to being of service of others on active duty in a unit.

Overall, its the changes that are coming and I’m embracing them fully. I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve had in the past and I’m ready to move forward while enjoying the present.
